With the county, you tear off Monday, wait until Thursday for mid-roof, then install Friday, and wait until the following Wednesday for final. That is 9 days for a job that takes 2 days of actual work. With virtual inspections, you tear off Monday morning, get mid-roof approved Monday afternoon, install Tuesday, and close the permit Tuesday evening.
