Virtual inspections for HVAC contractors

AC changeouts are the highest-volume virtual inspection in Florida. Your tech finishes the install, records a guided video, and the permit closes the same day.

Inspections we cover

AC changeouts, new system installations, ductwork inspections, and mechanical finals. Each one has a trade-specific checklist that walks your tech through exactly what to capture.

AC Changeout

The most common inspection we handle. Your tech records the equipment set (model, serial, capacity matching permit), clearances, condensate routing, disconnect, electrical connections, refrigerant line insulation, thermostat location, and plenum connections. Takes about 4 minutes to record.

New System Installation

Everything in a changeout plus ductwork installation, return air sizing, supply register locations, and energy code compliance documentation.

Ductwork

Material and sizing, support intervals, sealing, insulation R-value, and clearances from heat sources. Best captured before drywall goes up.

Emergency Replacements

When a system fails and has to be replaced right away, the inspection should not be what holds up the closeout. Your tech records the guided walkthrough as soon as the equipment is in, and a Florida-licensed inspector reviews it the same day.

Why HVAC contractors switch to virtual

If you run 15 or more changeouts a week, you know the math. A 3-5 day inspection wait on each one means you always have dozens of open permits. Virtual inspections close them the same day the work is done.
