On August 14, 2025, BORA voted to repeal restrictions on virtual inspections for private providers. aligning Broward with the rest of Florida.
Broward repealed Chapter 1, Section 110.3.13 restrictions. Every Broward municipality must now accept virtual inspections from registered private providers.

Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Coral Springs, Plantation, Sunrise, Davie, Miramar. all must accept virtual inspections. Jobs that waited 5-10 days can now be inspected same-day.
